President, Principle Engineer, PE

Steve is the lead design professional at KNA, with a diversified background of over 30 years of experience in civil/site design, land use planning,

transportation systems and associated local, state, and federal project permitting. Steve's background includes experience as a member of the Merrimack New Hampshire Planning Board and as the Town Engineer for several communities in the State of New Hampshire. 

Over his career, He has routinely served as lead engineer for dozens of civil/site engineering projects directing the efforts of his staff throughout the planning, design and project permitting stages. Steve specializes in offering municipal services and has assisted various communities in the preparation of their master plans, capital improvements programs, and engineering design assignments for a wide variety of municipal projects.

Vice President of Engineering, PE

With nearly 20 years of professional Civil Engineering experience, and expertise in  Hillsborough and surrounding county regions, Paul has a very diversified background and a great deal of experience in the design of sites, subdivisions and all utilities accommodations. Paul is involved on a day-to-day basis in the oversight of engineering design efforts at the office. In addition, Paul is responsible for securing a wide variety of local, State and Federal permits for a variety of private sector clients. Paul is intimately familiar with the requirements set forth by the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services Wetlands Bureau and Alteration of Terrain Program, and also the restrictions and requirements of the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s Construction General Permit.

Senior Project Manager

Jason has been a Senior Project Manager at KNA for over 10 years. Focusing on projects within the Londonderry and Bedford, New Hampshire townships, and most of Hillsborough county, he specializes in the design of residential subdivisions, commercial and industrial site plans, closed and open storm water management facilities, municipal sewer and water design, private septic design, as well as federal, state, and local permitting. A practicing Civil Engineer for 30 years with a degree in Engineering Technology and Architectural Engineering from NHTI, his experience ranges from foundation building land surveying, CAD Management and independent contracting to mixed Senior Level Project Management.

Senior Project Manager

 Matt is an experienced Project Manager with 30 years of success leading residential, commercial, and municipal projects across Hillsborough, Rockingham, Merrimack, and Belknap counties. Specializing in site design and permitting, he brings expertise in land use planning, site and subdivision design, storm drainage, roadway and intersection design, water and wastewater systems, and project permitting at local, state, and federal levels. Known for his clear communication and strong presentation skills, Matt effectively guides projects through the permitting process with logical, visually engaging presentations that regularly earn board approval. He continues to manage a growing portfolio of projects and welcomes the opportunity to discuss new developments. 

Senior Project Engineer, PE

Pete is a Senior Project Engineer, P.E. and a graduate of Norwich University with a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Joining the KNA team in 2019, Peter quickly excelled, obtaining his Professional Engineering License in 2024 and taking ownership of a large range of projects. Peter specializes in land development, drainage design and permitting, and is proficient in AutoCAD & HydroCAD. His particular skills lay within project management, site design and presentation, with notable completed projects including Tulley BMW Auto Auction & Auto Body in Nashua, Brookfield Acres in Litchfield, Vault Motor Storage of Hooksett, Hillsbrook Village in Allenstown, and many more.

Project Engineer, Septic Specialist

Gifford is a third-tier Project Engineer and our resident Septic Designer, with over 33 years of experience focusing on effluent disposal design, and is a certified Septic Designer, Septic installer and Evaluator with notable completed projects throughout the state including the Deerfield Community School septic system replacement, a large scale rehabilitation project. He is certified to work in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
